Concerned with the environment
Group Legerlite places the greatest importance on recovery, recycling and respect for the environment.
So that our products have no harmful impact on the environment, our company has specialized equipment to recover all our production waste. Many of our customers have also decided to contribute to the environment by returning polystyrene foam surpluses that originated from our company.
In addition, it should be noted that polystyrene foam contains neither CFCS nor HCFCS.
Foam beads are inert, so they cannot harm the environment, do not pollute and do not in any way constitute a nutrient medium for microorganisms.
To a certain extent, it is possible to reuse scrap crushed and pure foam to make molded objects and special blocks. This is an efficient and economical way to recycle.
LEGERLITE products are the best solution available for the construction of durable green buildings aiming to obtain a LEED certification.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design ou LEED® is a system based on an evaluation consensus for the conception, the construction, the operations and the certification of the best "green buildings" in the world.
The LEED® certification is looking for green buildings and sustainable developments that respect the environment.
Buildings that obtain the LEED® Certification do so by accumulating points in six different categories during the construction process. By using Legerlite products, the builders can accumulate points toward their LEED® Certification.
LEGERLITE GROUP will provide the necessary documentation on LEED® for any project we are working on.
